With a repertory ranging from Broadway to orchestral classics. the American Concert Band specializes in the wonderfully diverse music of America. The band has presented lively concerts throughout the metropolitan area; Newsday called their work "Music to the ears of band lovers." Dr. Kirby Jolly, the founding conductor of American Concert Band, has been central to Long Island's musical life. He is also director and soloist with the Old Bethpage Brass Band and was featured in the PBS documentary, The Civil War.
